Practice Coordinator, Accounting Delegate

Experience:
I have been a part of our practie since 2014 coming from a medical background that started in 1984. My experience in health care includes time as an ICU/CCU unit clerk, and several years in cardiology as procedure coordinator. I feel blessed to be working along with and taking care of our patients with compassion and understanding, as we have such wonderful patients! I’m very thankful and proud to be working alongside a great team as well!

Personal:
I have been married to my husband Mike for 36 years. We actually both worked and met at Bi-County Hospital. We have 3 children, 2 grandchildren, and a Lhasa Apso and a Quaker Parrot.

Fun Facts:
I enjoy time with my family and grandchildren, gardening, cooking and baking. I probably have a recipe for just about anything (or could come up with one)!

Reception, Insurance and Billing Delegate

Experience:
I have been with our practice since 1983! I built my skillset starting with the clinical side of dentistry. My experience evolved into enjoying the administrative component and insurance platforms. I enjoy being able to communicate effectively with patients which helps to aid in understanding dental treatment plans. I take pride in the strong relationships I have built with our patients and with our team!

Personal:
I live in Sterling Heights with my husband Jerry and our dog Hazel. We share a family with children Samantha and Zachary, and two grandchildren Lorenzo and Dustee. I enjoy my time with my family and friends, and I'm an exceptional baker and craftswoman.

Fun Facts:
I was born in Italy! I moved here when I was two years old with my parents and grandparents.

Dental Hygienist

Experience:
I have had the pleasure of working in private practices for over thirty-three years. Most of my career has been spent right here in Grosse Pointe Woods.

Personal:
I grew up in Northeast Michigan, surrounded by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. I have been married since 2000, to my husband, Dan, who I met swing dancing. We have three very busy daughters, who keep our schedules full.

Fun Facts:
I love to spend time gardening, canning and hunting. The ladies here call me “Laura Ingalls”!

Dental Hygienist

Experience:
I found my calling in Dentistry when I began as a dental assistant in Clinton Twp. in 1985. It started with on-the-job training and attaining multiple responsibilities in the dental practice which led to becoming the lead dental assistant followed by Office Manager. It was clear to met hat the field of Dentistry was where I was meant to be and that provided me with the opportunity to help people and make a difference in their lives. That’s when I returned to complete my dental hygiene training.

Personal:
I was born in Detroit and soon after moved to Clinton township with my parents and sister. I was raised and surrounded by strong, positive people who instilled in me that we can achieve anything we put our mind to.

I now reside in New Baltimore and I love to spend my time with my family and friends, traveling, kayaking, taking nature walks, listening to live music, and eating great food. I also love animals (all kinds) and enjoy volunteering my time to organizations that work on behalf of animal welfare.

Fun Facts:
When I was younger and into my adulthood, I adopted an orca whale as a means of giving financial support to The Whale Museum in Washington State. MY whale’s name was Ralph. When I graduated from Dental Hygiene School, I gave myself a trip to The Puget Sound, and with the help of The Whale Museum, was able to locate Ralph in the wild on a little zodiac boat. Truly an awesome adventure!

Dental Assistant, Equipment & Materials Manager

Experience:
I earned my dental assisting education in March of 2019. Shortly after, I started my dental career at this wonderful office! I had a few years of on the job training and became certified as a dental assistant.I truly love what I do and the team that I get to work with!

Personal:
I grew up in Eastpointe MI. I graduated from East Detroit High in 2005. I married my husband John in 2013 and have 3 awesome kids Zachary, Johnny, and Riley! I enjoy time with my family and friends.

Fun Facts:
My favorite t.v. show is FRIENDS! When I was 13 I was able to swim with dolphins in Florida. One of my favorite memories is with my family when we were able to visit The Christmas story house in Ohio.

Dental Assistant, Patient Relations

Experience:
I have been in the dental field for 33 years! I love the interactions with our patients and with out team.

Personal:
I am a proud mother of 2 daughters, 1 son, and two step-sons. I have very positive memories of growing up on Littlestone with my family. I am very happy to be back in my childhood neighborhood working with our practice!

Fun Facts:
I love the interactions with my patients and the personal connection that is formed with each of you. There are many "small world" connections made here in this practice as this is my childhood neighborhood. I feel really blessed!
